Dutch military Carinthia Gore-Tex waterproof jacket, olive, original used.
Issued to the Dutch armed forces and manufactured by Austrian outdoor specialist Carinthia, this rain jacket uses a bi-component Gore-Tex membrane to stay fully waterproof while remaining breathable — a step up from the older wax-cotton and PVC rain shells it replaced. Its design draws influence from the classic Austrian M65 pattern, with a full-length storm flap, large fold-away hood, armpit ventilation zips, and hook-and-loop rank slide at the chest for field use.
Carinthia built it as a reliable outer layer meant to keep soldiers dry across a wide range of wet, temperate conditions — a genuinely functional piece of kit rather than a fashion reissue, which is exactly why it holds up so well for range days, hiking, or everyday wet-weather use today.
Jackets are visibly used, they will do its work for quite some time though!
